Deshone Kizer Stays Out Late Drinking Before Game- Cleveland Desperately Still Trying To Convince Us It Has a Sick Night Life

Same story, different quarterback. While addressing the media Sunday following the Browns’ 12-9 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans, head coach Hue Jackson learned rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer had stayed out at a bar until 1 a.m. Saturday.

Full story here.

I’m in shock. So for those of you who missed it Deshone Kizer, the first pick of the Cleveland Browns in this year’s draft, played a pretty terrible game by all standards on Sunday. After the game, his coach, Hue Jackson, was made aware of the fact that Kizer, 21, was out partying until at least 1AM on the Friday night before the game- needless to say he was not pleased. What’s shocking about this is that Deshone Kizer is not the first rookie QB to have these issues in Cleveland; anybody can remember the Johnny Manziel debacle in 2014- where Manziel basically partied and domestic violence’d his way off the field and eventually the bench.

I’ll be honest, this makes no sense. How can a guy like JR Smith be laying low in Cleveland, resurrecting his career while living a pretty disciplined lifestyle, while the Browns are dealing with this epidemic of party hard players? We’re dealing with the same city.

The only explanation is a conspiracy that goes all the way to the core of the Cleveland Visitors Center. The Cavs have a shot, as soon as Lebron came back they became contenders again- so they need players who take this whole basketball thing seriously. The Indians are at least competing. But the Browns, oh the Browns, they are a DUMPSTER FIRE.  Seems like a perfect opportunity to sacrifice the quarterbacks of a team that’s not winning anything, anytime soon. There’s no better way to make a city seem “fun” and “trendy” than to have the young center of a rebuilding team out hitting jaeger shots until sunrise.

So well played Cleveland, this was a clever move on your part to be sure.

If this is not a conspiracy and Smith, Manziel, and Kizer are all living in the same city with no strings pulling them in different directions- then the matrix is broken, and the system needs to be reset.
