Workers Fired For Giving Middle Finger To Baby

CNN report here. Hmm I guess that’s kind of a no no, huh? I mean it’s not easy to say because on one hand, I feel like new born babies are tough because you’ve got a couple month long window of being able to say whatever you want to it. Like you can whisper, “you’re a fucking asshole and I hate your existence” in its ear, and it will be psyched you’re paying attention to it. You’ve got this very brief period of time where you can really vent and the baby won’t get its feelings hurt because it can’t comprehend human language yet. Also who's to say the baby wasn't being a prick?

On the other hand, it’s probably not a great look to tell someone else’s baby that they’re a fucking asshole. It’s also definitely not a good idea to make somebody else’s baby dance, and like, that baby looked way too young to be sitting up without someone making sure its jello spine didn’t fold in on itself. Babies are kind of like super fragile toys; you can’t just pick them up and throw them around without permission. So seems like the right decision was made here, because despite my last analogy, you really shouldn’t treat babies like toys, especially if they’re not your babies.

P.S. I vividly remember the first time I saw my mom give me the finger. I was maybe eight years old, being an asshole in the backseat and she put her middle finger up in the rearview mirror. She asked me, “Do you know what this means?” and I said, “No Mama”, and she said, “It means go fuck yourself, stop being a dick”. That was a valuable lesson from Mom, and I’m 100% sure she flipped me off when I was a baby. Look at me now; I’m just another well-adjusted blogger in Brooklyn.
