I think everyone is pretty aware this happened. Donald Trump retweeted several very anti-Muslim videos from a far right British group. Obviously this is not a good look. A pretty relatable mistake though right? I mean this a tale as old as time- the classic "doing a little internet investigating we shouldn't be and accidentally publicize our most recent findings" if you will. We’ve all been snooping through our most recent bumble date’s Instagram and accidentally liked a photo we weren’t supposed to. We’ve all accidentally shared a Facebook post from an ex five years removed, haven’t we? It's basically the same thing!

I’m also not at all convinced that Trump has any social media wherewithal whatsoever, so we have to acknowledge the legitimate possibility that grandpa was doing his usual racist video perusing and hit a coupla’ buttons he shouldn’t have!

I guess it just goes to show, when you’re doing a deep dive through Instagram (or racist twitter), you gotta watch those thumbs no matter who you are!
