SURPRISE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - A Surprise couple was hit by thieves twice in one day.  

Janyt Auck was packing groceries into her SUV in a Surprise Fry's parking lot on Saturday when a thief stole her purse from the center console of the SUV. She was left stranded with no car keys, wallet or phone.  

"I put my purse in the front console and I lifted up the back of the SUV and started loading all my groceries in and I got in and my purse was missing," Janyt said.

She called her husband Richard at home but he was busy dealing with his own ordeal. His truck was just stolen.

Look, sometimes you have good days: the sun hits the sidewalk differently than it did yesterday, people smile at you and do you favors, and the little things all go your way. Other times, you end up the target of a coordinated robbery and, well, you have a pretty shitty day. Such is the case of Janyt and Richard Auck.

Sounds like these folks didn’t do anything wrong to end up on the wrong side of an organized heist, but hey, sometimes your number gets called and you’ve just gotta get robbed. If you didn’t read the article above (you idiots), basically Janyt’s at the mall, and Richard’s at home. While Janyt is loading up her car with groceries, thieves steal her purse from her dashboard. These thieves then use the spare car key in her purse to go back to her house and steal Richard’s pickup truck.

This is a tough one, and seems pretty unlucky that the cast of Ocean’s 11 has moved on to robbing folks in mall parking lots. I mean come on this took a lot of effort! Surely there can be some better pay off for this then just a pickup truck! Cars and purses are for lazy thieves! With that coordination and research at least try to step up and rob a bank or something, jeez. Talk about wasted talent. I feel bad for Janyt and Richard, but they seem a little lucky that they’re dealing with a group of chronic underachievers. You can't talent, but you can teach effort.
