Everybody In The NBA Is Fighting: Here's Why It's Lebron's Fault
What’s in the water, fellas? Here we are in December, trying to enjoy some increasingly important basketball, and dudes can’t stop getting tossed! Who knows what’s going on, maybe guys think the league has gone too soft. Maybe some of the new kids on the block want to show that they shouldn’t be stepped to. But me? I think that it’s all Lebron’s fault. No I’m not kidding: Lebron started this trend of switching teams every blue moon and playing with your friends. That was him. He started that. Everybody knows that the only person you fight with more in a basketball game than your worst enemy is your best friend. Have I thrown an extra elbow in games against dudes I hate? Yeah 100%. But tempers never run higher than when I play with my buddies.
That’s just the way it is. Little things nag you a little bit more. Everybody knows everybody’s weaknesses, both physical and mental, and it’s a recipe for disaster. So yeah, the reason this is happening is all Lebron’s fault. We’ve got best friends, guys who spent their first professional years building a team together, now playing on separate sides. Of course punches are going to get thrown! Everybody’s seen everybody else’s dick at this point!
