Substitute Teacher Arrested For Vaping With Students

SOMERSWORTH, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire substitute teacher was arrested after police say she provided a vaping device to students and invited them to smoke marijuana. Elisha Mahar, 20, of Rochester, N.H., is charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Hey I mean when you’re a teacher you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to relate to your students, and that is times a THOUSAND if you’re a substitute. Being a substitute teacher is easily the most disrespected jobs in the world. Either you let the students walk all over you, and every teacher in the building thinks you’re a giant bitch; or you try to muscle your way through the lesson plan and the kids eat you alive.

Without relating to the pupils in any way, you’re fucked. Honestly anything short of bribing them and you’re fucked. Hence why this substitute teacher was so quick to pull out the “you vape bro?” and it’s hard to blame her. When it comes down to it, being a substitute teacher is a quick way to get arrested (case in point). Either you’re dealing weed, flooding the room with laughing gas, or trying to hide a bunch of middle school bodies in a dumpster. Things escalate quickly in a classroom.
