Today In: How Is This News? Mother Upset That She Bought A Christmas Sweater With Pot Leaves On It For Her Six-Year-Old
SUFFOLK, Va. - A Suffolk mom was caught off guard when she realized she was sending her six-year-old to school wearing a shirt with possible marijuana leaves on it.
Nicole Belote said several weeks ago she started looking online with her son for a holiday shirt. He was going to wear it to her work Christmas party and to an ugly sweater party at his elementary school.
She said he found one he loved depicting Santa doing the popular dance move "dabbing" on Walmart.com.

Lady you’ve got to get with the times! It’s 2017, weed is basically now legal now if you’re a white person. Your six year old is probably smoking up already and you don’t even know it. It won’t be long before all of our kindergartens are just hot boxes; can you think of a better way to mellow kids out?
I mean the only thing to be upset about here is that you bought your kid a dab sweater. Don't get me wrong, dabs are dope. But 6 years old is young to be getting in to the dab game. And mom, you really thought that the dab sweater wasn’t going to have weed on it? This poor mom, probably sent her kid to school thinking that her kid was wearing a cool holiday-dance-mov-sweater with a bunch of basil leaves on it. Nope, that sweater featured a bunch of the devil's lettuce and a dance move immortalized by vandals and vagrants alike (I love dabbing).
That’s a bummer mom and I’m sorry that you sent your kid to school covered in the marijuana, but the good news is that happiness is a mindset. The sooner you accept the fact that your kid’s probably going to be a pothead regardless of what clothing you let him wear, the better. In high school when I saw clothing with weed on it, I thought “Oh SHIT that guy might smoke marijuana.” Whereas now when I see someone who has weed on on their clothes, I think, “Wow that’s crazy, what a bold move to say you like weed JUST LIKE EVERYBODY”. It’s not a cool thing anymore, kids, unlike dabbing. Dabbing will always be cool.
