Pittsburgh Steelers Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley Shattered His Pelvis On New Year's Eve: How Did You Shatter Your Pelvis, Todd Haley?
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley is reportedly recovering from a pelvis injury he suffered during a bar incident on New Year's Eve.
A team source told Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Haley has "a 'shattered' pelvis and a badly bruised left side." Haley was shoved during an altercation outside of a bar in the North Shore and was in the hospital for two days.
“A few nights ago unfortunately I was in a situation,’’ Haley said. “The situation, though not of my doing, has been made clear to me by the Steelers that it is a non-issue to both the team and the Steelers organization. My sole focus is on preparing for next week’s playoff game, so it won’t be addressed further.”

Man I thought I got my ass kicked in my most recent (only real) bar confrontation, but this takes the cake! I took a couple of good shots in the kisser but Todd Haley shattered his fucking pelvis. How does one do this?? I’m under the impression that’s a pretty serious injury!
What did you fucking do, Todd? Who’d you piss of this time? Did you give a new year’s kiss to the wrong lady? Did you sing the wrong words to Auld Lang Syne? Did you not tip the bartender? Did you say something mean about somebody’s mother? What the fuck happened? I refuse to believe Todd Haley was just standing around and took a stray punch that shattered every bone below his waist, so this whole “wasn’t my fault” thing sounds like bullshit to me. You shatter your pelvis from running with the bulls, or getting run over by a freight train- so this must have been some shit.
What’s Todd Haley going to do, coach from a fucking hospital bed? Are they just going to wheel him out onto the field with his iv and monitor and just pray he doesn’t flatline? A shattered pelvis is not something you just walk off, Todd. Tough New Year’s Eve indeed!
Gotta feel for the guy though. I looked like I lost a fight for 3 days. Todd Haley's going to look like he lost a fight for six months.
