Last Week In China They Started Banning The Alphabet
China censored the letter N from its internet for at least a day.
The ban came as China cracked down on online discussion over the Chinese Communist Party's proposal to scrap presidential term limits.
Abolishing term limits would allow President Xi Jinping to rule indefinitely.
China temporarily banned the letter N from being published online after people started using it to criticize a plan which paves the way for Xi Jinping to rule the country indefinitely.

China just went ahead and banned the letter ‘n’ They could have banned certain words, which they did, but they didn’t stop there, they also had to ban every word that had the letter ‘n’ in it. Insane. There are a lot of innocent words out there with ‘n’ in it. Leave it to China to come out and ban 4% of the alphabet. This whole thing is going down because president Xi decided that he was going to president forever, obviously raising a few concerns over the abuse of power and complete takeover of Chinese society. Well let me just say that banning a letter of the alphabet doesn’t assuage those fears. No no, banning books is one thing- just banning a letter out of existence is very much something else. For those who don’t know, it’s advantageous to keep people unaware of the fact that you’re controlling them, so this might be a little too on the nose. I also love China’s response to this,
"The biggest reason for all this is that the rise of China has reached a critical point where some Westerners cannot psychologically bear it any longer. They wish to see misfortune befall the country," the Global Times said.
