Bunch Of Cocaine Accidentally Ends Up At A Grocery Store: Watch Me Make It About Lebron

Some 21 bricks of cocaine hidden in banana shipments ended up at grocery shops in Canada following a bungled drug-trafficking operation, authorities have confirmed.

A local store owner in Kelowna, a small town in Central Okanagan, British Columbia province, alerted authorities after finding 12 packages of what appeared to be cocaine among a banana shipment on 24 February 2019.

"The drug section of the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Unit worked collaboratively with the CBSA to determine that these shipments originated in Colombia," Cpl Jeff Carroll of the Kelowna RCMP Drug Section said in a statement.

"Our investigation leads us to believe these illicit drugs were not meant to end up in the Central Okanagan and arrived here in the Okanagan Valley as a result of a missed pickup at some point along the way."

Full story here.

This sucks, someone is definitely gonna die for this. I say that with all of my drug experience (I’ve seen Narcos and watched Breaking Bad twice, what about you?) You can’t just miss a pickup for a shipment this size and expect to get away with it. In that line of thinking, it also sucks because nobody gets to enjoy this cocaine. I’m no connoisseur of the product but I’d hope if you’re going to go through the trouble of producing it, packaging it, shipping it, ALL FOR somebody to not collect it- then you want that stuff to be used for good. And by good, I mean fun. While we’re on the subject of drug use, isn’t giving drugs away for free- by and large a NET LOSS for the organizations that peddle these drugs- the best possible outcome. The people get their drugs! The cartels lose money! Everybody’s happy! Except for drug organizations!

With that being said, you can’t really blame the folks for reporting it. 1. Cocaine is bad. 2. We don’t have the same relationship with strange white powder since the whole Anthrax thing. Almost makes you think whether Lebron should stop tossing the chalk in the air. Is it harmless? I mean, at the very least it sets a terrible example for what people should do when they find themselves near 1. Anthrax, or 2. Cocaine. Nobody likes a person who throws cocaine, nor I should note, anthrax. I’m not here to attack anyone’s party habits, unless I don’t like you in the first place and then the first thing I’ll attack will be your party habits. By and large, throwing cocaine is a massive waste of money. That’s obviously best case scenario for Lebron. That he loves wasting money and is a throws-cocaine-at-a-party-guy and is a terrible example. Worst case is he’s pro-anthrax.

Obviously the internet largely claims that Lebron stopped this practice in 2014/2015. I however, diligent journalist that I am, found proof of him bringing it back in 2019 for his debut with the Lakers. So, who’s to say what he does or doesn’t do, or whether he’s pro, or anti-anthrax? We’ll have to withhold judgement until he retires.

All I know is it just doesn’t seem right that the working class should be scared out of free cocaine in a time like this, when guys like Lebron can toss that fear, both literally and figuratively, aside. It just sucks that grocery store owners live in fear, missing opportunities that fall at their feet, and Lebron can just live in his anthrax-free fairytale and throw god-knows-what into the air on a totally whimsical, inconsistent basis.

Pick a side, man. Do you throw it or not? Do you love anthrax or do you throw cocaine at parties?

Really makes you think.
