I Again Wrongly Dubbed The Worst Holiday Crime: Shooting A 5-Year-Old's Horse In The Back Of The Head Takes The Cake

LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas - At 5 years old, Arian Brock loves horses.

But this past weekend, Arian’s favorite horse Sunny was shot in the back of the head and left to die in agony.

“I petted him a lot and I loved him,” Arian said.

As sick and senseless as it sounds, Sunny, a palomino quarter horse, was shot in the head sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning at the Brock family ranch on County Road 184 in Raywood, in Liberty County.

Full story here.

Goddamnit. God. Damn. It. My head is in my hands and I don’t know what way is up. Does this need to be my last holiday crime write up? It’s more clear than ever that there’s a fate-driven conspiracy against me.

Every time I say a crime can’t get worse, it gets worse. I keep thinking I’ve found the worst crime, and then I turn the news back on and I see something that makes my stomach curl even more before. I couldn’t imagine many things worse than the women stealing all of the presents from the poor people- and I finally relaxed as I opened my internet browser. That is, I relaxed until I saw that somebody has just been sneaking up behind horses and shooting them in the head in Liberty County; the most recent victim being the horse of five-year-old Arian Brock.

I’ll be honest with you, I don’t think that this would have happened if I hadn’t challenged the fates like I did. I basically pulled the trigger that executed this young girl’s horse. I didn’t thin that when I found myself thrust into #bloglife that I’d also be thrust into #murder and #horseexecution. But that’s me now. It’s on me. I don’t want to ask how it could worse than this, but we’re all wondering. Either this or I’m cursed, which has been my suspicion all along.
